(Scroll Down For Women Sharing What It Means To Them To Be Truly Well)
There are countless women who have untold experiences, stories and insights about what it means to be Truly Well. Women who have discovered something more than what the world around them defines as wellness. We want to hear their stories.
These women have discovered that you can’t find real wellness in your job, your status, or your wealth… You can’t find it in beauty products, botox, and cosmetic surgery… You can’t find it in marriage, relationships or sexuality… You can’t find it in your children or in being a ‘perfect’ mom… You can’t find it in working for charities, causes, or volunteering at your church… You can’t find it at your doctor’s office, massage therapist, naturopath or acupuncturist… You can’t find it in veganism, vegetarianism, paleo diets, or superfoods… you can’t find it in meditation, sport, fitness or exercise… you can’t find it in music or art… you can’t find it in self-help gurus or popular religious teachers… and you can’t find it in your own strength, self discovery, or inner power…
These women have found that real and lasting wellness is something they cannot work to achieve, but rather, it is someone. Someone who is pursuing them with far more passion than they pursue anything in their own lives.
Kimberly started Well Christian Woman because she wanted to tell her story of True Wellness. Her body was dying, but she was learning what it meant to be Truly Well. She believed that true wellness has little to do with being physically well and everything to do with who you place your trust in.
Kimberly’s story has inspired many people, but I know she would have been much more interested in hearing the stories of others rather than telling her own. She would have loved this project and I hope you do too.
