“I believe that life here is temporary, there will be an eternity after we die, and spiritual wellness is the most important aspect of human life. Given my belief in the existence of eternity, there is nothing more important I can think of to spend my time doing than talking about Jesus.
For most of my life I’ve been far too caught up with “stuff”, financial security, and focus on the things I wanted to have and achieve. I’ve been worried enough about others’ opinions that I’ve talked very little of my beliefs.
The perspective that comes along with a diagnosis of aggressive terminal cancer made me truly realize the importance of spiritual wellness. I believe that there is a real God and a real eternity that can either be spent in happiness and joy… or in despair and hopelessness. What kind of person would I be if I didn’t share this with others?
By sharing my thoughts on my faith, I hope to encourage fellow Christians to draw closer to Jesus. I also want to encourage those who don’t know Him to think about the Jesus of history and of the bible. He claimed to offer forgiveness and “life to the full” both in this world and for eternity for everyone, including you! That is why I started Well Christian Woman.”
